I am guessing I am not the only one a little behind in my Reader reading. I am also guessing that people have better things to do on Christmas Eve Eve (Urban Dictionary Word of the Day) than to catch up on that reading. Instead I will give you an update.
I had my annual baking day with A1 on Friday. It was very productive and less stressful for me this year than it has been in the past. (I will post recipes another time.)
Saturday PE and I finished up Christmas shopping. We got out of bed the same time we do during the week (5:00 a.m.) and were finished by 11:00 a.m. when stores and the roads were getting busy.
Sunday I helped Moo finish up her Christmas presents. She made two styles of Christmas boxes and I was just there for guidance as she finished them up. She wanted to make Grandma's Caramels to go inside so I helped with that as she hasn't made candy before. She made Christmas Fudge too. (Again, I will share recipes another time.)
I have been working on finishing up Christmas present stuff. I spent the day wrapping on Monday--that took more time than expected as it always does. I did go the extra mile and actually put bows and curly ribbon on all the presents I wrapped AND I wrapped every present that was square and even a few that weren'. (No joke, there have been years where EVERY present under my tree was in a gift bag.)
Yesterday morning I made goodies for the ladies at PE's work and had them delivered by 8:15 a.m. Then I spent the remainder of the day working on calenders. I had the pleasure (not really) of watching the entire first season of Ben 10 with Bob as I did this. Not the best way to have him spend his day but it did keep him out of trouble (he has had sort of a naughty streak lately).
Today I will continue on with the calender making. I also have hopes to post a couple recipes, I guess we will see. Make sure you check out the sidebar for the list of possible upcoming recipes.
