Another Delicious Freezer Meal

Last week while at K1's house I cooked Hearty Lasagna Soup from the Freezer Meal Swap. It was easy and delicious. I added a little extra Parmesan cheese to the top. I also made Rice Krispie Treats (let me know if you would like me to share that recipe).

Hearty Lasagna Soup
from Freezer Meal Swap

1 1/3 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp dried parsley
4 cups beef broth
1 1/2 cans diced tomatoes
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 cups spiral pasta
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook beef, onion, garlic, and parsley. Add broth, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning and heat to a boil. Stir pasta in saucepan, reduce to medium. Cook 10 minutes or until past is tender. Stir in Cheese.

**To freeze: Freeze soup before adding pasta. Defrost soup overnight. Heat soup. Cook pasta separately. Add to heated soup and then add cheese.
